WALL THICKNESS POINT MEASUREMENT INDEPENDENT OF TEMPERATURES

WARP PORTABLE is a mobile terahertz based hand-held system specifically designed for medium and large-sized extruded pipes. This battery-operated hand-held device offers a fast and easy wall thickness point measurement of plastic material pipes having a wall thickness of 5 mm or more to an accuracy of 50 µm. Due to the independent of temperatures the WARP PORTABLE is perfect for wall thickness measurement in front of the calibration sleeve and particularly suitable for large pipes.

The modern economic design of the WARP PORTABLE offers maximum user convenience. After the measurement wall thickness data or in case of the diameter measurement through the pipe cross section both wall thickness values and the interior and exterior wall thickness sizes are displayed on the LCD display by pushing only one button. The measurement data can be transmitted to a master system via WIFI.

WARP PORTABLE will be delivered with two exchangeable centering aids, one for large diameters, the other for medium pipe sizes. The nickel-metal-hydride-battery has an operating time up to 10 hours.
